Latest issue

In our April issue...

  • housing & equipment take centre stage. As many herds are turned out and sheds are emptied, it’s a good time to take stock and plan for any ‘summer’ upgrades, maintenance or more ambitious projects to ensure cows have five-star accommodation waiting for them at the end of the grazing season

  • we're also taking a look at the latest tech and gadgets – large and small – and machinery on the market to improve all aspects of cow and calf housing, feeding and general management

  • and dry cows, or more specifically transition-cow management, are also a key focus of this issue. Many important aspects of the transition period – from drying off through to calving and early-lactation management – are featured.
